Title 1
The counter accepts standard NPN input signals, making it compatible with a wide range of industrial sensors, including infrared (IR) sensors, photoelectric switches, and proximity sensors. You do not necessarily need a separate power supply for the sensor, as the display panel provides a built-in 12VDC output specifically designed to power connected sensors.
Title 2?
Yes. The unit supports RS485 communication and can act as a slave device on your network. By wiring it to a PLC or an edge gateway device, you can extract the live “Actual” and “Target” counts and transmit that data to a central server or custom web dashboard for plant-wide monitoring.
How do operators update the target or clear the actual count at the start of a new shift?
The system includes a dedicated, external keypad controller. Operators can use this keypad to manually input the new “Target” production number and reset the “Actual” count to zero without needing to access the main network or open up the display panel housing.
